According to the Schenectady Police Department, officers responded on April 16, 2026, at approximately 11:15 p.m. after receiving a 911 call reporting that a male had been shot in the area of Albany Street and Hulett Street.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located a 31-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Victim Hospitalized in Critical Condition
Emergency responders transported the victim to a local hospital for urgent medical treatment. Authorities confirmed that he is currently listed in critical but stable condition.
