According to a Trumbull County 911 call log, the incident occurred just before noon when a woman told dispatchers that her boyfriend was “coming after her,” prompting her to open fire inside the residence.
Victim Sustained Multiple Gunshot Wounds
The call log indicates that the man sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and back of the head. At the time of the emergency call, the woman reportedly told dispatchers she was unsure whether he was still breathing.
Police Find Weapon at Scene
Responding officers located a revolver near a vehicle parked inside the garage as they secured the home and began processing the scene for evidence.
